Amelia Coastal Fishing Charters
There's a fish with your name on it in Fernandina Beach and Amelia Coastal Fishing Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Matt Kane, which means you'll tap into years of local experience.
Species like Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Snapper, Black Drum, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, as Capt. Matt specializes in artificial fishing. This includes both spinning rods and fly fishing guided trips.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise adult life vests are provided. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll find yourself aboard a 17' Sea Fox center console that can carry up to 2 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Amelia Coastal Fishing Charters!

We had an amazing time, came down from Texas to fish with my son and will definitely book another fishing trip upon my return. He was polite, laid back and had amazing local knowledge of hidden honey holes. Didn't have to compete with other boats, felt like we owed the water.
We had a blast today. Caught a lot of fish! Matt is knowledgeable, funny, kind and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. We will book again!

First charter and definitely will be a returning customer. The captain was amazing, extremely attentive, detail oriented with every cast, and an all around great guy. Highly recommend.

Thanks Abdullah, had a blast and cant wait to get back out there!
Had another great time with Captain Matt! This was our 3rd time out, and everytime we have caught several fish and enjoyed his company and his knowledge of fish and of the water we were on! We will book a fourth trip!
Capt Matt was an excellent charter captain. My wife and I had a super fun time and Matt was quick to match the energy of both of us. We caught 14 redfish and caught many more memories. I would recommend him to everyone.

Capt. Matt Kane was born and raised on the water around Amelia Island. He grew up in a fishing family and was handed down many local honey holes and lure presentations that have continued to work through generations.
