On your trip, we will target Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Snook, Pompano, Permit, Shark, Cobia, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, King and Spanish Mackerel and more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. We also offer fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.Fish inshore and backwater or head offshore up to 10 miles and even further targeting sharks and migratory species. Kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available, But you can bring your own for comfort. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard our 24’ Privateer with a pilot house that can carry up to 6 passengers comfortably with partial shade. Our boats come with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. We provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included,
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready to do some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and snacks. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Tips are always greatly appreciated for your captain. 3 Hour Inshore – Fish N Fun (8AM)
Great one with my son
While in siesta key, I booked a last minute short charter. My son “likes” to fish but is tired of it quickly. Our captain kept us hopping and we brought in 7 keepers which we grilled up for tacos that night. We definitely caught more than we kept. Cap also navigated us through a little Florida squall and helped us get the most out of our fishing trip given the weather. He was also very good about making adjustments when the fish got cold. Just what you expect out of a good fish captain. This was one of the better short charters that we’ve taken recently.

3 Hour Inshore - (4PM)
Best Captain EVER!
My family and I were in town from St. Louis and my two kids have always wanted to go fishing in the ocean. We were nervous and scared to spend the money without knowing what to expect. BUT, Captain Brian made it amazing! He taught us and spent a lot of time with the kids. It was educational as well as fun. We will be back and we will be asking for Captain Brian. We caught several fish and he even prepared them for us so that we could go home and grill them! 5 Stars for this Captain! If you are doubting if you should, I am telling you, YOU SHOULD. (But, ask for Captain Brian)

4 hr - Inshore/Nearshore 3PM
AMAZING & SO WORTH THE MONEY.
A group of 4 of us decided to do a fishing charter on the last day of our vacation on a spur of the moment decision - booked it the day before we actually went! Originally booked a 4-hour trip for 3pm, but got a message from the company asking if we could start at noon instead, because of the tide. The 4-hour ended up being the perfect amount of time for us. We were slightly nervous on the dock, as there was another group coming in off of a completely different fishing charter (different company too) that said it was a “very expensive boat ride”, and only came out with one small fish. However, we started catching fish almost immediately. We felt comfortable baiting our own hooks and taking off our own fish, after a brief explanation from the Captain (however, he was always willing to help if we wanted it) - which made the experience even better. Captain Lance was AWESOME! Obviously super knowledgeable and honestly a great time. We went to 5+ different spots in the Gulf and caught lots of fish: including a HUGE 32-inch Snook. We also saw tons of dolphins on the way out and back, and were explained what they were doing by Captain Lance - which was SO COOL! All of us had beginner/intermediate fishing experience in freshwater, but nothing in ocean/saltwater. It was very easy to learn for what we were doing, and truly a good time. One of us got seasick midway through the trip due to the waves, and Lance gave us some ideas to help— which worked! We will 1000% be going again, especially with Captain Lance. At the end, he gave us waters for the road (as it was a pretty hot day) and filleted our fish for us - which we grilled up for dinner that night (DELICIOUS btw). Cannot recommend Lance enough, for a group of 21-25 year olds— he was perfect.

3 Hour Inshore - (4PM)
MEMORABLE
We were initially concerned the trip might be canceled due to the weather, but instead, they simply delayed it until the worst of the storm passed—very reassuring and professional. Our captain, Jamie, was fantastic—friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all our questions with ease. The first stop was unforgettable: a school of dolphins! We saw eight in total, playfully swimming and living their best lives. It was absolutely magical. Next, we headed to the fishing spot. My son had a blast—he caught seven fish and even a crab! I only caught one, but I rarely fish, and my fiancé caught two. For all of us, it was a first-time experience, and we had an amazing time. I would absolutely recommend Captain Jamie and the company to anyone looking for a fun, memorable outing on the water!

2 Hour Inshore – Fish N Fun (1PM)
Best. Day. Ever.
Captain Chris was AMAZING. when we met him at the boat, for our Inshore trip, he explained that due to the amount of boat traffic, inshore wouldn't be the best and asked if we would mind switching to the gulf. We had two kids with us and didn't care where we fished, as long as the kids caught something. Chris found us a great spot and the kids caught grunts, grouper and sheep heads. My daughter even caught a sheep head, that as she was reading it up, was being eaten by a 80 pound Goliath Grouper. I've never seen anything like it. Chris also found us sea turtles and was able to get some dolphins in our wake on rhe return trip. This was our second trip with the company and we had an amazing experience both times. I'm so grateful for their patience with the kids. It was a memorable afternoon for us all.
