These waters are known for Redfish, Cobia, Tripletail, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Largemouth Bass, Flounder, Snook, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Shawn welcomes you aboard a 21’ Carolina Skiff that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

GREAT FISHING TRIP WITH CAPTAIN SHAWN
Captain Shawn is the best! He brought us to prime areas, and we were catching fish like crazy. We laughed a lot and had a great time during the entire charter. Shawn started off as a captain that we didn't know anything about. Shawn and his family have become our close friend which is an understatement because he is more like family to us. Thank you, Shawn for everything! We can't wait to book our next trip when we are vacationing again in Suwannee with our travel trailer.
