You’ll be using a similar approach as with regular angling with light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, ice fishing, and jigging while luring, Walleye, Pike, Perch, Burbot, and lake whitefish your way. However, the experience of fishing on the frozen water will be unique.

You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so. Also, the availability of some species might differ throughout the season. Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them prior to the trip. Kids are welcome and you can consult with the captain on how to go about preparing the little ones for this adventure.
