I grew up offshore fishing at the young age of 3 out of Stuart, FL. As most young boys typically do, we learn from our role models in life, our father and his buddies. My Dad and I became close friends with some of the most humble yet legendary Captains in the state, VJ Bell and Patrick Price. They helped mentor my father and me in the offshore fishing world. Skip ahead 15 years, after high school, I bought my first boat and joined the workforce. Over the next 8yrs, I worked construction all across the state and fished whenever possible in between. I taught myself the inshore world the old school method by spending countless days on the water. The majority of my inshore/ nearshore experience comes from Tampa Bay, Crystal River, Mosquito Lagoon, and Stuart. These fishies have taught me so much over the years and transformed me into the guide that I am today. I may not be the oldest salt to walk but, I guarantee if you book a charter with me, you will have a great experience, stay entertained, learn something new about our fishery, and as long as you’re not unlucky… We’ll catch some fish!
