Local Fishing Charters invites you to experience the stunning calm waters of Galveston Bay and Clear Lake With Captain Chris at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Species like Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Red Snapper, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Black Drum, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. During the trip, you might be spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your vessel for the day is a 24' Sea Pro center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Chris will provide rods and reels, all tackle, and live bait.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and Alcohol is allowed. There will be bottled water onboard.

Chris was a pleasure to fish with. he was absolutely great with my 8 yo son and being able to go to the Clear Lake/Kemah area versus Galveston was nice. landed some nice slot reds! Definitely give him a shot!

Great trip with Captain Chris and his first mate. It was a family trip. Cousins, uncle and aunt all had fun. We landed pretty much everything black drum, speckled trout, sand trout , red fish, flounder and one massive black drum (40 inches) that gave a bit of a fight. It was great conversation onboard and just a chill morning of fishing. We will definitely ride with Captain Chris again. Highly recommend.

Captain Chris was amazing as usual, we went out last year around the same time and I caught the largest redfish I've ever reeled in. This year I caught one that was even bigger. He knows all the spots, plenty of bait and is super accommodating and knowledgeable. He truly made my Dad's 76th birthday fishing trip amazing. Can't wait to go out with him again!!!

You Can’t Go Wrong Booking with Captain Chris.

My wife and I booked a family fishing trip with our two young daughters and Captain Chris did a great job!! The conditions were not ideal but he found calm water and put us on fish. His deck hand was his daughter Kaylee and she was professional and was always right there when someone needed help. We will definitely be fishing with them again.

    Capt. Chris made my kids and I feel part of a Saturday morning family trip. His knowledge and wit made it all work out. Continous advise and amazing crew, kept out lines in the water and guaranteed fresh filets for lunch. Can’t recomend him enough. Tight Lines!!

    Didn’t bring home as many as we would like due to size (some too big) but we caught a lot of fish and had constant action. Captain Chris was a great host. Enjoyed the trip.
