Coastal Adventures welcomes you to the vast waters of North Padre Island and Mustang Island in Corpus Christi, Texas. Captain Travis has fished for Sharks from the shore for over 20 years and loves to share knowledge and stories with people! He loves to fish for any species but enjoys watching others land fish just as much!
Depending on the season, you might hook into Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Whiting, Pompano, and plenty more.
Tackle on trips includes heavy tackle for Sharks of all sizes as well as lighter tackle for various species that cruise the sand bars and guts that the sharks hang out in.
Trips with Coastal Adventures are child-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Although he advised that everything is sharp and pointy when it comes to Shark fishing, please let Travis and his crew handle the business end until it is safe for you to jump in!
Please bring your food and drinks as well as chairs and other beach toys if desired.
We will provide all the tackle needed but if you'd like to bring some of your own, you're more than welcome!
Make sure to get your fishing license ahead of time. This can be done at the Stripes on the Island or through the app and online store. You will need the saltwater fishing license at the very least.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no glass bottles on the beach.
