3rd Coast Sightcast
Booked with us before? You may qualify for a Loyalty Discount. Sign in to check.
If you're ready to discover fishing on the beautiful Texas middle coast, in the secluded backwaters of Matagorda island and the Guadalupe River delta book a trip with 3rd Coast Sightcast.
Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season.
Fly fishing is our passion but we also offer light tackle sightcasting opportunities as well if that's more your style.
You'll find yourself aboard a 17' Maverick HPX-T with a capacity for 2 passengers.
Quality, high-end rods, and reels (Scott/Thomas and Thomas/Orvis, Hatch/Ross/Nautilus) can be provided, but you're always welcome to bring and use your own gear!
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses (polarized), bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. (No glass)
