There's a fish with your name on it in St. Augustine and Conquistador Fishing Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Rob can tell you all about them.
These waters hold game fish like Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, and more with any luck.
During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Conquistador Fishing Charters is a child-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll find yourself aboard a 21' Center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Fun day of fishing
What a fun day of fishing. The weather was crazy the fishing was not so great because of the we weather. But captain Rob gave it all he had to make sure my fishing experience was fun and it was! I didn't think that we would caught anything at all but we did. We caught big reds, blue crab, and some croakers that we used for bait. Captain Rob is very skillfull as a guide! He got us into places I didn't think a boat of it's size could go, but he made it happen. Thank you again Captain Rob for a very fun day of fishing. I will book you again if I'm in your neck of the woods.

Captain Rob was a pleasure to fish with. A couple of flounders, a Jack crevalle, amd spotted trout wasn’t much of a productive day. But we had some good opportunities in the back creeks with some missed hookups, probably a redfish or two. Day after a full moon may have had some impact on the fishing. We worked some various artificial and some lively shrimp, good presentation but couldn’t get the bite on. Looking forward to getting back on the water with Captain Rob again. 🎣
