Book your next trip with Fishing with Big Mike and experience Buoy 10, the Superbowl of Salmon Fishing!
The term “Buoy 10” refers not just to the buoy marking the end of the Columbia River and beginning of the Pacific Ocean, but nearly 20 river miles, the entire lower estuary fishing area from the buoy clear up to Tongue Point just east of Astoria. The Shipyard, the Church Hole, The Sawdust Pile, The Condos - we'll follow the tides and get you on the fish!
You'll be trolling from a 26' Columbia with capacity for 6 passengers. It has and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. All gear and bait provided.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring rain gear, but also a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock, though we usually have some on board.
