We will be targeting largemouth bass. There are times when the white bass fishing is really good and we may take advantage from time to time.
Your boat for the day is a 21' Skeeter bass boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Kistler custom rods and RPM custom rods. Diawa and Shimano reels. Bait cast and spinning reel set ups. All top notch equipment.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Reel Texas Fishing Tours will make it easy for you to go fishing. Lakes you can choose from to fish are Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Lake LBJ and Lake Buchanan. I can meet you at any of these lakes and take you out for a great time on the water. I have tons of knowledge on them all.

Amazing trip for family
Evening trip on February 2, 2025
My daughter and I were really lucky to have Randy as our captain for this productive fishing trip in lake Buchanan. His boat was super cool and we moved around for the best spots and ended up with a lot of white and hybrid. My daughter was so excited to get her first fish ever. Randy was very friendly and patient and willing to explain us everything about his boat and himself. He shared us his snacks just in time when we felt empty in stomach. I also did not expect Randy would help us clean and fillet the fish and we happily took them home. We closed our trip with beautiful sunset on the lake bank. I would strongly recommend this trip with captain Randy especially if fishing with young kids.

Great Lake Austin trip
Half Day Trip on June 26, 2025
My 13 year old son and I had a great time. He's starting to become a good bass fisherman in his own right and getting tips from an accomplished fisherman and guide like Randy was "gold". Lake Austin, a segment of the Cororado River, is incredibly clear and you can see how the river has cut through the sandstone over millions of years. We had a blast!

Capt. Randy is aces! I contacted him weeks prior and asked if he was up to help recruit my fish-loving high school junior to Texas for college. We traveled from Minnesota to look at local schools and to help show off Hill Country. Randy’s boat is pristine, new, and fully loaded. And he put us on plenty of fish. He knows Lake Buchanan like the back of his hand. Great guy and great guide. I highly recommend. Gig ‘em and jig ‘em!

Everything was perfect! Weather was amazing and while I know that’s out of the captains hands, everything he did was superb. Great with my 6 year old son, knowledgeable, brought us to great spots and very friendly! Can’t wait to go back. 10/10 recommend

Randy is a knowledgeable and friendly guide with a great boat and all the latest high tech gear. He’s very familiar with many of the lakes in the area. We fished Lake Austin, which is a very crowded, busy lake on weekends. Randy was able to put us on some fish at several of his regular honey holes. Overall a good trip. I look forward to checking out some of the other lakes in the area with Randy as a guide.
