Species like Flounder, Redfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, Cero Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Black Seabass, Needlefish, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Ty also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

You’ll be welcome aboard a 17’ Ranger flats boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
