Spend the day with Cherokee Lake Erie Charter and see what's biting in Lakeside Marblehead! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Shannon knows them forwards and back. Growing up at Lake Erie, starting at just 10 years old, consistently fishing Lake Erie for the last 18 years, and eventually taking over the Cherokee as the 3rd generation son, named after the marina on Indian Lake.
These waters are known for Walleye, Yellow Perch, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'
For these species, you're likely to troll. All equipment supplied, for the Perch we will be anchored, poles can be provided for the Perch also with braided line and custom-made Perch rigs versus spreaders (these rigs also go back 3 generations).
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! child-sized life vests are available let me know in advance, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks & drinks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Shannon operates a 27' Sport Craft sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can purchase it at Channel Grove Marina. A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Capt Shannon was great with the kids. Showed how to rig the lines and was a great experience all around.
We had a great day of fishing. We caught 3 Walleyes 28". i would definitely recommend going fishing with him.
We had a wonderful time on our trip. The Captain was very attentive and never stop working to put is on the fish. We had never been walleye fishing before. He taught us everything we needed to know to rig the rods, tell when we had a bite, keep the lines from getting tangled, and the all important landing of the fish! We will be booking another trip next year!
Caught our limit quickly. Very knowledgeable for the targeted species. All good things!!
Thank You, it was a pleasure, they wanted to do it all, i even let them net some fish towards the end, great group of guys
