These waters are known for Halibut, Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Black Rockfish, Rockfish, Albacore Tuna, Squid, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 32’ Allied sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

If you want a Charter that just finds the fish- Go with Outlander Charters. Jason runs a great operations- you can start with a night in his bayside lodge than jump on the smoothest and fastest charter boats in all of Washington! He has top quality gear including perfect rods, clean baits and electric reels for the deep stuff (I’ve had 3 rotator cuff surgery and had the most enjoyable day fishing since I was a kid!) After a safe trip “Catching” he has fillet, chamber vacuuming and ice available “my group couldn’t recommend him more!” Thanks for a great day- Jody

possibly the best charter out there the crew was great and the gear was reliable. we cought out limit as fast as i think anyone could and there wernt small fish. i think we spent more time catching then we did fishing . if your on the fence about what charter to go with look no further these are your guys.

The captain and crew were great. If fish weren't biting in a location they quickly moved on. Limited on halibut, rock fish and one short on lingcod. Also the lodge is a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

10 Hour Trip – Halibut Combo on August 24, 2024
I have been on many but this trip was awesome, captain and deck hand were so fun and it was non stop action catching fish and seeing whales and having sea lion take a fish! We had Cam and he was awesome! Coming back next year for a couple days.
