If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in the Northern Neck, look no further than Tip-Sea Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Daniel "Bull" Kurdziel can tell you all about the local fishery.
Species like Cobia, Striped Bass, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Bluefish, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll, cast, and bottom fish.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.
The fishing machine is a 25’ Parker Sport Cabin pilothouse with a capacity for 4 anglers equipped for Cobia, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, redfish, (puppy drum) speckled trout, and rockfish in the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and live bait.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Christmas in July
This was one of the best fishing trips we have ever taken! Captain Bull (Santa Dan) and his first mate Charles made it feel as though we were fishing with old friends. The laughter and the Cobia kept on coming!! Captain Bull and Charles were just as excited to catch the fish as we were! Highly recommend booking captain’s choice because Captain Bull knows what he’s doing. Looking forward to booking another fishing trip with them soon!!

Great day of fishing with a great Captain and Crew
Captain and crew were fantastic. Clean boat, good gear and friendly service. Outstanding communication throughout the process. Fishing was tough despite it being a beautiful day but the Captain put us on citation size Sheepshead and a couple of rays even when no one else was getting bites. Will definitely book again.

6 Hour Trip – Cobia
Great guide, great trip
Trip was great, we went in late June and it was very hot but that is just part of summer fishing. We caught cobia and saw lots of dolphins. Boat doesn’t have a bunch of luxury features so if you’re looking for the most comfortable trip, this probably isn’t the one for you. If you’re looking to catch fish with a very friendly and knowledgeable captain…..this is the trip for you
