yes i did catch fish 3 and yes the crew was very friendly and captian is was very knowledgeable but i would have to say it was not what i was expecting. I booked the trip for 2 people so im thinking we would have gone in the 28 ft boat he was offering in the listing but instead they brought me in a old commercial fishing boat that was converted to handle big groups of people. (well maintained ) i booked the 4 hour trip which the capt adjusted to 3 due to the boat races (he did pro rate the bill). i just can't understand why would you put me in the vessel which makes 8 kts and took 35 mins to get to the first spot and then also much slower moving from spot to spot looking for fish when you know im on a time crunch it would make much more since to go in a boat that could have gotten me out there in half the time which would have given me another hour of fish time easy. will say the fishing equipment was about as old as the boat broken eyes on rods. The crew was good people and the captian was very friendly but the listing and what they are advertising is diffrent then what i would have expected. side note the weather was beautiful so the 28ft would have been comfortable to fish. Also they list 2 captians on the ad the captain i had was not either 1 of those people. overall the boat was a well maintained vessel and the crew was friendly but what i got verse what i expected from the add was 2 different things.
Hey colby appreciate the review, not every trip we have to move to spot to spot , some days one spot is usually suffice so we do apologize that the fish were not biting as much so moving to ensure you did catch some fish was required. As for the vessel it does state there may be one or the other. "You'll be dropping lines from a 28' Sea Fox Center console or one of our larger deep sea vessels depending on the weather and booking with space for 8 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water." The center console was already booked for another project but should you ever make it back to Nova Scotia dont hesitate to reach out we will certainly get you on the center console. overall we are just glad that you were able to catch some fish. Cheers

Everything about our trip was handled professionally, with prompt communication, clear instructions and needless to say - WE CAUGHT FISH. 3 generations of avid fishermen enjoyed the brief ride out of the harbor, with excellent narration by the Captain. We fished a few miles, but within sight, offshore, and we quickly were pulling in pollock, mackerel and ultimately scores of COD. Some of the poles were rigged with three hooks and we often had 2 or 3 fish on at the same time. I can recommend this crew / boat for anyone looking to enjoy a day out at sea, and looking for non-stop action !
Thank you for the opportunity, Glad we all a had a great day.

Eric and Cody did an excellent job of getting us on some fish. We didn't catch anything huge but we sure had a good time. Their knowledge of the area was great and showed us a lot of neat things on our way to and from the fishing spots!
Thank you for the opportunity!!!
Went out on 9/10 with my family of 5 and had an amazing day. The boat was very comfortable and we caught a lot of fish. Eric and Cody we very capable and great guides. Highly recommend this charter.
Thank you again for the opportunity to show your family a good time !!!
Charged me $650.00 to take a trip on a boat with another company that would have only charged me $260.00. I would have thought Fishing booker would verified captain credentials and boats before listing a fishing trip. I asked the advertised company for a partial refund which they obviously ignored.
First let us firstly apologize you feel this way Secondly we did not scam you by any means our cost and their cost are different you booked with us and we pay platform fees etc so it will always be more . You saw a sign that had nothing to do with us . Thirdly you sent a message and we respond when we can , you had the trip same day , left the review immediately and not even 24 hours has passed. Alll of our vessels and operations are different our two hour cost is $850 and there has never been an issue you paid $500. Never the less we can certainly continue this in the inbox so we can try to reach an agreement. Thanks for the business and understanding.
