Birds & Boards Fishing provides inshore fishing charters out of New Smyrna Beach Florida and surrounding areas.
Specializing in light tackle fishing for Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Black Drum, Trout, Mangrove Snapper, and tons more species that the Indian River and Intercoastal Waterways have to offer, Capt T.J. Wisniewski has over 20 years of experience fishing the Volusia County area.
Growing up on the intercoastal down in Edgewater Florida and being able to fish from my dock at such a young age instilled a strong passion for my love of fishing. I enjoy targeting the bigger fish the river has to offer but also loves changing things up from time to time.
We offer a variety of trip options from Morning, Evening, and Nighttime charters from 3 hours up to 6 hours. Whether you want to throw live bait or strictly artificial, Birds & Boards Fishing can make it happen for you. From the Inlet to the backwaters, it is always a fun time fishing with Capt. T.J.
I can accommodate up to 3 people for fishing on a 18' Carolina Skiff JLS. This boat can do it all from heading out of the inlet to fish the beaches as well as getting you back into the flats for some sight fishing. On board we have a very high quality fish finder as well as a minn kota trolling motor with spot lock.
What to bring- I will supply all the fishing licenses and will have a cooler for any keeper fish and a cooler with ice/water. You may bring any food/drink you want other than glass bottles.

Slow Time but a great time
June can be a slow season in NSB for fishing. TJ hustled the whole time to make sure my son had an opportunity to put fish in the cooler and to land a big one. We ended up with a trophy Black drum, and a PR Redfish for my son.

Excellent Fishing Trip
Excellent fishing trip with a local captain that knows the waters. The captain made sure we had fun, saw the sights, and caught some big fish. We caught large red fish and drum fish. In the words of my 9 year old, “best fishing trip we have ever been on”. I would highly recommend this fishing charter.

Capt. TJ has a wealth of knowledge of the area. It was a windy and cooler day but he was able to put us on fish. His skiff is a nice dry ride witk plenty of room for my wife and I to fish. We would definatly book him again.
