Kenanow Lodge feels that there is a significant difference between the services they offer and what you will find at other, larger lodges. While some people prefer the more anonymous experience of larger lodges, Kenanow’s customers come back year after year because they are regarded as friends rather than customers. They look forward to the close contact and open-hearted atmosphere the lodge has to offer.
Whether you want to socialize with the owners before and after dinner, or simply hang out with your group back at your cabin, you will be able to make the most of the personal setup. As there is normally only a small group of guests at the lodge at a time, it is easy to personalize your stay to match your needs.
Wake up and fishing times are flexible, and special dietary requirements catered for. In addition to all of this, Kenanow’s prices are generally lower than larger lodges’, and are less likely to incur extra charges.
During your stay at Kenanow Lodge, you will be fishing aboard 20’ Champion Bass boats. These vessels will take you to the fish fast, allowing you to spend as much time fishing as possible and not too much time travelling. These boats are very comfortable for two or three anglers plus their professional guide, and they are equipped with all the necessary up to date electronics.
Your guides will help you fish with a large variety of styles, including casting, trolling, jigging, or all three. You could use a wide variety of spoons, jigs, spinners, and more. Note that all fishing must be done with barbless hooks on Manitoba’s waters. The majority of the fishing is catch and release, although you can keep a limited number of suitably sized fish for eating.
Please note it is usual for clients to bring their own fishing gear. If this is not possible, please notify the company well in advance so they can accommodate your needs.
Visit Kenanow Lodge and have the time of your life fishing some of the most beautiful waters in untouched nature!
