Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Ed operates a 31’ Tiara 3100 Open sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Ed has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Muskie (AM)
HUGE Musky!
I took my 2 boys and parents on this trip and all had a wonderful time! Straight away, my dad landed the biggest fish of his life! a 49 3/4 Musky! We caught others as well but the trip was all around very nice. The captain was super cool and down to Earth and personable. He made us all feel very welcome. It was a beautiful day and we caught some massive fish! What more could I ask for?
