Hoping to catch some fish in Honolulu? That’s what No Whiners Sportfishing is here for! Captain Fuzzy has been fishing these waters for 30+ years, even though he lost everything to the fires. He is eager to show you everything he knows about these waters and the fish that inhabit them.
Species like Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Shortbill Spearfish, Rainbow Runner, Wahoo, and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to troll using light tackle.
Trips with No Whiners Sportfishing are open to the whole family, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll step aboard the Sea Verse III, a 42’ Pacifica sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Fuzzy will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with No Whiners Sportfishing!
