Lowe Island Fish Camp
There's a fish with your name on it in Gloucester and Lowe Island Fish Camp will help you catch it! Captain Justin will be your guide, which means you'll tap into years of knowledge and experience.
Species like Cod, Haddock, Striped Bass, Bluefin Tuna, Tautog, Atlantic Mackerel, Blue Shark, Mako Shark, Porbeagle Shark, Thresher Shark, and more could be biting, depending on conditions. For these fish, you're likely to live line and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Justin also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll step aboard a 33' Bluefin sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Justin will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Lowe Island Fish Camp and get hooked!
