Capt. Many Fishing Charter
Marathon has a fish with your name on it, so let Capt. Many Fishing Charter help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Osmani can tell you all about the local fishery.
African Pompano Jack, Gag Grouper, Cero Mackerel, Red Grouper, Permit, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, Lobster, Black Grouper, Hogfish, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Contender center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
