Spend the day with Steady Pressure Sportfishing for the best deep-sea fishing experience in Maui.
Your trip begins aboard our 42’ Bertram Sportfishing Boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing charter can run without. There’s a marine bathroom on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.
Charters are run with the help of a skilled and experienced First Mate who will show you everything you need to know to land your prized catch. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great experience
It was a great time with captain Tim and deckhand Walker! They tried everything they could to get us on fish, and explained the whole process thoroughly. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a private charter on Maui.

Derek and Walker showed us a great day on the water!
We had a great time on the Musubi. Fishing started a little slow, but with some perseverance we managed to catch three nice fish. The crew was great about communication before and during the trip. Overall a great experience!

6 Hour Trip
6 hour private charter.
My son and I booked a 6 hour trip with Steady Pressure. We have fished all over the United States but this was our first experience in Hawaii. Captain Ross and Captain Joel were both excellent and had a wealth of local knowledge and experience. We arrived at 530am and were on the water by 545am. Around 615 we fished for bait for about 5 min and then continued on. Around 730 my son landed a Kagami and bout 30 minutes later a 20lb Giant Trevally. After that we continued on for larger sport fish to no avail. We arrived back to the harbor at 1145. All in all a memorable and excellent experience on the water.

6 Hour Trip
Let's go Fishing
Had a Great time with part of the family. 6 of us decided to try our luck at sport fishing. We hooked up with Steady pressure fishing Captain Ryan and his first mate Joel . Started the morning early 5:45 headed out to catch bait fish. And see if anything was lurking on the bottom. Which one of my daughters happened to land a nice size trevally. Then off to see if we could find Mahi Mahi, Tuna or Marlin for fun. Well no such luck on the troll out were headed back in when the top rod started its run. My son Trevor sat in the chair and the fight commenced. Blue marlin started his run clearing the water . Approximately 30 min later he's taking pics and smiling with that 100 to 150 lb blue marlin. Not bad for a beginner. So yes I would say it wasn't a total loss but a great fun day to catch fishing fever. As they always say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
