Capt. Bernard operates a 50' Californian Carver Cruiser with a capacity for 15 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Continental breakfast is included.

AMAZING crew. A pleasure hanging with them for 6 hours. This is not a fishing boat. There was no live bait and they didnt even change the lures on a regular. We didn't catch any fish which happens but at least be actively trying to catch something. I have fished a lot in the area on different boats and it seemed like they were more intent on taking us to have lunch in las animas than catch fish. I wish I would have know that we were not going to focus on fishing. A pleasure boat would have been way less money to rent if the only intent was to have a boat ride and go to lunch.
