Fishing in Fiji offers a diverse & exciting experience where you must be prepared for anything from trolling to top-after action, jigging & deep dropping. With our comprehensive gear selection, we ensure you are equipped with every fishing challenge.
Species like Mahi Mahi, Green Jobfish, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefin Trevally, Giant Trevally, Bigeye Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.
We cover your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available.
Bring along a light spray jacket & sun protection gear, we’ve got you covered with sunscreen, towels, water, soft drinks & snacks. Our 8-hour trip offers a light lunch whilst you fish.

Awesome day fishing!

Both my husband, 29 yr old son and myself had an amazing day fishing with Tess and Maika. They went above and beyond to cater to the specific day we wanted. Their hospitality was wonderful. Their knowledge of fishing and the area absolutely superb. The boat was comfortable, catering well for 3 of us. Booking was easy, everything was top notch, fruit, water, softdrinks, fishing gear and conversations were friendly and welcoming. And yes we caught fish. Overall we were thrilled with our day on the water, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and most definately look forward to going out with the again. Thanks boys for the wonderful day.

Amazing Fishing Trip with Tess & Maika

We had an incredible 6-hour fishing trip with Tess and Maika, who were both extremely professional and attentive throughout the day. Our booking included two types of game fishing—trolling with poppers and lure casting—and we successfully caught 4 GTs and 1 barracuda, which made the experience even more exciting. The three of us were absolutely satisfied with the trip. On top of that, the fresh pineapple served on board was delicious, along with watermelon, drinking water, and soft drinks provided, making the journey even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Fishing not catching
Full Day Trip on September 25, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child
We tried everything, top water, trolling lures and rigged bait, deepwater, mahimahi, chased some skippies. After the crew went over time our son finally hooked a bluefin trev casting at a surf break. Unfortunately for me it was a sixtieth birthday bucket list trip and didn't even get a decent stike/bite. It wasn't for lack of trying by us or the crew or experience as we fish a lot back home in New Zealand. Just one of those days I guess, fishing, not catching. totally gutted though. Crew Maika and Tess were great, knew their stuff and super helpfull and friendly. Great boat and gear.

We had the best day out in the ocean with Tess & Maika, both were awesome in ensuring we were able to catch a fish, and what a beauty when we did. The went out of there way to look after us with their hospitality, friendliness, professionalism and safety.
The boat was so very clean, the communication was exceptional and the entire booking process was excellent.
We highly recommend Locals offshore Fiji, and would hesitate booking with them again.

Best fishing charter of my life

Have bean on a number of fishing charters would wilde, by far the best abd the best crew, took my wife and two kids on this fishing charter, the best time ever. The fishing and locations were awesome. The crew we're awesome with my 2 Young kids and ourselves so nice, and so kind. Would highly recommend. Fishing snorkeling good food , the fishing gear was top, notch boat was clean, fast and luxurious. We all had the time of our lives. A Special thanks to the crew, who then currently dropped us directly back to the hotel port They couldn't have gone out of their way enough for fishing and accommodating the family.
