These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Crappie, Walleye, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Young ones are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 21’ Nitro Bass Boat with room for 2 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels.
You’ll need a Missouri fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be provided. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
