If you’re going to cast a line in Pensacola, look no further than Tradition Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Miles is prepared to put you on fish.
Species like Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Grouper, Almaco Jack, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Wahoo, and more could be biting, depending on the season. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Tradition Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks to keep your stamina going!
Your boat for the day is a 48’ Marine Management sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 25 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Miles has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Fishing trip!!
We had an absolutely incredible fishing trip thanks to our amazing captain Cameron and Remi! From start to finish, the day was perfect – the weather was beautiful, the boat and equipment were top-notch, and the atmosphere was fun and professional. Our captain was outstanding – experienced, friendly, and knew exactly where to go to find the fish. We caught snapper and other great catches throughout the day. Remi was also fantastic – super helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing trip with a skilled crew who truly know what they’re doing, look no further. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with Capt. Jason and his 2 mates. They were extremely accommodating to what we wanted out of our fishing trip even though the weather was not as cooperative as we thought it would be. We still went out and caught fish, just what we hoped for. We had a party of 18 people and everyone had an absolute blast. Thank you for such a great experience! We will definitely be booking with them again!

Great day on the water
The crew was fantastic. The check in a few days ahead and also the day before was excellent so we knew what to expect. The boat was very comfortable for our larger group that would not fit on the usual 6 pack. We caught more than 50 fish and had a blast. And as a bonus, the crew cleaned the fish at the dock! Captain and mate were super friendly and fun to be around. Could not ask for a better day!
