Easy Keys Charters is all about the Islamorada Sandbar,  cruising, snorkeling, and fishing the stunning waters of Islamorada.

These waters are known for Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Yellowtail Amberjack, Snook, Black Grouper, Scup (Porgy), Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 21’ NauticStar center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
