Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Mullet, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Catfish, and who knows what else!
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Sean operates a 24’ Bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3 Hour Sunset Fishing Trip
Amazing!
This was my very first time in Florida and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience it than on a 3-hour sunset fishing trip with Captain Sean! From the start, Captain Sean was welcoming, friendly, and made the whole trip feel easy and fun! He explained everything clearly, helped set up our gear, and was patient throughout the trip. I never felt rushed or out of place, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The views were absolutely stunning — watching the sun dip below the horizon while out on the water was magical and something I’ll never forget. We even caught some fish along the way, which was a total thrill! If you’re visiting Florida for the first time (or even if you’re a local), I highly recommend this trip. It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty. Huge thanks to Captain Sean for making it such a memorable experience for us!

3 Hour Sunset Fishing Trip
Great time on the water
We had a lot of fun, the captain was great, he helped our kids 7 and 11 and was super patient. Initially the fish weren’t biting but after a little work we caught a few, including a beautiful red fish that was the perfect size, just small enough to be a keeper, can’t wait to throw it in a skillet and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

3 Hour Sunset Fishing Trip
The highlight of our vacation
We did everything along the coast from Gulfport aquarium, USS Alabama in Mobile, etc but nothing compared to our experience as a family fishing. The captain was so awesome. He never let anyone go without bait. He explained the types of fish and told us techniques to use. He knew exactly where to go find the fish. I'm most definitely booking with him every time I come to Navarre from now on. My wife and children haven't stopped talking about it yet.

Captain Sean is on point!!! We had So Much Fun With Him!!! Caught so many fish that I actually lost count!!! It’s not always about the keepers….it’s All About the memories And We Made So Many Great Ones Today!!!! You Sir Are Awesome!!! Take Care My Man!!!

Captain Sean was great. We took a trip out on the Santa Rosa Sound, after deciding the high winds would not be a great first boating experience out on the Gulf for our five year old. Captain Sean really delivered, he put us on to tons of Trout, and took us to all of his secret Redfish spots. We also caught a few catfish and even a stingray! Overall, we had a great time, left with fish, and will absolutely return in the future.
