If you plan on fishing in Port Hardy, look no further than Tidal Charters. Having logged many hours in the last decade on these tides, Captain Tim is prepared to put you on fish like you've never seen.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod, Black Rockfish, Albacore Tuna, and whatever else is biting. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-size life jackets are available. Snacks are also a good idea!

You'll be dropping lines from a 30' Grady-White walkaround with room for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.

You will need to purchase a Pacific Tidal Fishing license as well as a Salmon stamp, available online.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
