BPO – Denver, Littleton, Aurora
Two of Denver's best fisheries, one guide who knows them inside and out. Brad Petersen brings a fishery biology degree, 40+ years of angling experience, and 30 years of professional guiding to every trip. That combination of science and on-the-water knowledge means you'll understand what's happening beneath the surface — and catch more fish because of it.
Choose between two excellent reservoirs, each with its own character. Chatfield sits right against the foothills with stunning Front Range scenery and strong numbers of walleye, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and rainbow trout. Cherry Creek is an unexpected gem in the heart of the Denver metro — mountain views to the west, easy access from downtown, and quality walleye fishing alongside crappie and rainbow trout.
You'll fish from a 20' Ranger Fisherman, a stable fiberglass platform built for productive lake fishing. Brad provides top-quality rods, reels, and tackle — just show up ready to fish. The boat accommodates up to three anglers comfortably.
Families are welcome and encouraged. Kids do great on these trips, and Brad is happy to have child-sized life vests on board — just let him know ahead of time. Bring snacks to keep everyone fueled up.
You'll need a valid Colorado fishing license before the trip, available online at CPW's website. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are provided on board. No alcohol permitted.

Brad was absolutely amazing today. He was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable; he knew exactly where this fish were hiding and what bait to use to get them on your hook. We will definitely be doing this again. We had a blast!
Wanted some bass but no luck so started fishing for walley and fish on.
Our son is 10 and absolutely loves fishing. We brought him on a surprise trip to Colorado and booked a charter with Brad. Our son was so surprised and excited to catch his first walleye. We caught a lot of fish and he had so much fun. Our son has ADHD, PTSD, and ODD and can be a bit testy at times. Brad was so patient and kind. He took the extra time to show him process of filleting the fish after our trip was over, as our son really wanted to learn. It was a great experience and we’d book again in a heartbeat.
Friends and I were in town for a conference. Last minute booking and Brad fit us in. Within minutes we were into the fish and kept catching until it was time to go.
