On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Dave also offers fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 2025 Parker Offshore 23SE center console with a capacity for 4 fishing passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Dave has rods and reels for you, along with lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
