On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with Profishing Rovinj are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You’ll be dropping lines from a Quicksilver Arvor 215.7m that can accommodate up to 5 anglers. The boat is fully equipped and spacious for fishing with an electric Minn Kota anchor, Helix 9 sonar, swimming pool for live bait, toilet, and fridge. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

Recommended Trip
I was there with 8, 12, and 16 year old boys. Marjan was very friendly and attentive from the start, but also not pushy. He took us to several spots, fish were there, unfortunately only the smaller ones were biting, a bluefish bite unfortunately managed to shake off, from midday it was quiet, possibly because the weather was changing. Despite all that, we had a great trip and I was able to learn a lot from Marjan about fishing along the Croatian coast. THANK YOU MARJAN !!👍

Pure Fishing Fun
We headed out early at 8 AM to the first fishing spot today. The bites didn't take long to come and the competition with the 2 other anglers was on!😂🤣 Marijan is very experienced and knows his waters well. I can only recommend him. Unfortunately the really big ones got away but I'll tell you what - doesn't matter at all, I'm still going to be sore tomorrow. When you're hauling in that many bites from 150 feet deep, you've definitely earned your Balkan feast in the evening 😀😀

4 Hour Trip – Botom Fishing
Great fishtrip with kids
We had an awesome fishing trip with Marjan. You can tell from everything that he's a professional angler - he explains everything clearly, takes his time, and makes sure you have a great day on the water. We started out catching smaller fish, landed several different species, and eventually we hooked 2 bluefish! He took time for everything, and our son even got to take the helm. And we spotted a dolphin too! All in all, we had a fantastic morning with Marjan! Kudos and many thanks for this wonderful memory - maybe we'll see you again next year!

Best captain ever
This was our first sea fishing trip, and I couldn't have imagined a better one! Right before departure, I lost my phone, which caused us to arrive late, but Marjan was incredibly helpful and picked us up despite the delay. He told us about sea fishing techniques, and during the shared trip, he was always there for us, helping with everything. We caught plenty of fish in many varieties, and we also took home a big dose of his passion for the sea. :))

Pro Fishing Rovinj
I did a lot of trips like this arround the world... But this trip was the best one for sure! Especially because of the guide Marjan... His charakter, the way to fish with kids and in general His knowledge was very special! Now i know why he is the officially the best croatian fisherman of 2024. It was a pleasure to fish with such a famous Fisher ;-) See you soon Marjan! Best Regards, Ben
