De-Bait-Able Fishing Adventures 

Make the most of your time in Port Clinton and go fishing with De-Bait-Able Fishing Adventures. Having logged many hours on these waters. Captain John knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Walleye, Yellow Perch, and who knows what else! During the trip you might be trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Your boat for the day is a 22’ Wellcraft center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available depending on the time of year and species targeted.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Other important things to consider:
This is a smaller off shore fishing boat there is no bathroom. It is also tight quarters on the back deck but has a relatively large bow area to sit in. Also at times you might get spray from the lake wile underway (I’ll do my best to minimize the spray but occasionally it can not be avoided). I will do my best to make the trip as comfortable and as productive as possible.
