If you plan on fishing in Stillwater, Marine on St. Croix, Bayport, or Hudson, look no further than Croix Boys Guided Adventures. Your guide for the day is Captain Ryan, who allows you to benefit from years of knowledge and experience of fishing.
These waters hold game fish like Walleye, Sturgeon, Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, White Bass, Largemouth Bass, and more, depending on the time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll or pull live bait with bottom bouncers.
Your vessel for the day is a 21' Pontoon that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide St. Croix rods, reels, as well as lures, and live bait.
You will need a fishing license, unless you are 15 or younger. A wisconsin or minnesota fishing license is valid for fishing the St. Croix River, but you will need a Minnesota license if you are wanting to keep fish.
A few items to bring includes sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and drinks and snacks of your choice. There will be water on board. Alcohol and smoke is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

(Meeting location will vary depending on where the bite is happening. If you wish to fish a specific location, let the captain know. We fish out of william O’brien State Park, Boom Site Public Launch-Stillwater, St. croix Crossing- Stillwater, and Beanies Marina-Lakeland. The Captain will let you know where we will be meeting a couple days before our trip. Thank you for booking with us and we look forward to our fishing adventure!

Half Day Guided Fishing Trip
Ryan knows Walleyes
Ryan rents space so parking is available. Boat is clean, comfortable , and well stocked. He knows multiple potential spots that he updates regularly. I’ve caught Walleye before but never this many in a 4 hour period, I departed with beautiful Walleye filets, bagged on ice. Only regret, not getting a full day trip.

Half Day Afternoon Fishing Trip
Great day on the water!
We did a half day trip in the afternoon and limited out. We had a blast and my son caught his PB Walleye. Ryan is knowledgeable and knows where to find the fish. I would definitely recommend his service if you are looking to get on the water and have enough fish for dinner after.

Special 4 hour trip for Richard Nielson
Fun outing
Ryan is a knowledgeable guide and all-around good dude. The bite was slow due to the unusually heavy mayfly hatch, but he was still able to put us on some nice walleyes. We all had a good time and would definitely use his services again.
