These waters are home to Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and more, depending on when you go. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks for a boost of energy when needed! Water is provided.
Your adventure begins aboard a 24' newly renovated Kenner that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Lorrie did a phenomenal job. All we did was show up with a few snacks and sunscreen. He is a retired school teacher and coach so he was patient and a natural at teaching my daughter and son how to catch fish. They responded very well to him and we ended up catching a limit of speckled trout before 8:30! He was on time and his boat and equipment is first class. When we returned to the dock he cleaned and packaged the fish. Ice is plentiful and on site. All we did was provide the cooler to take the fish home. Captain Lorrie was a pleasure to fish with and I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a day on the water fishing with a guide. Well worth it!
Captain Lorrie Ardoin made our fishing trip unforgettable. When conditions were difficult he quickly made adjustments to put us back on the fish. He is great with kids, showing my son how to cast correctly in windy conditions to get him in the best spot (now he's much better than me) and letting him help around the camp fetchig ice and feeding the scraps to the gators. We had a blast and will definitely be scheduling our next Vermillion Bay fishing trip with Mr. Lorrie.

We had a 3 man limit on Speckled Trout, caught a few shark and other species. Captain Ardoin was very knowledgeable, hard working and we had a blast!! Will definitely book again!!

i caught mird than the captain we all need to be humbled at sometime in our lives!!!! captain took the beating well i would fish again with hin m ao he can have a chance to out fish me!!!!!!
