Spend the day with God’s Country Fishing Company and find out what the fishing in Yankeetown is all about!
These waters are known for Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Permit, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, Tripletail, Cobia, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.
On these trips, you can expect to use light tackle spinning rods and reels. You will be fishing the inshore and nearshore areas of the Gulf of Mexico as well as surrounding rivers and creeks depending on where the fish are holding, time of year, tides, weather, etc.
You’ll find yourself aboard a 21’ Flats Cat boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. It is a shallow-running boat designed perfectly to give you a smooth, dry ride to get safely to and from the areas you will fish. Capt. Mike will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures and live bait
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
God’s Country Fishing Company will make it easy for you to go fishing in Yankeetown. So, how about booking that trip?
