Excited to go fishing in San Pedro? Make it happen, with Captain Emerson! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Emerson knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, and who knows what else! You can expect to do some spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Emerson also offers fly fishing.
You'll step aboard a 23' Captain Sharks Skiff with a capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Aaron will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

SUPER SLAM

Half Day Trip
Learned to fly fish, caught bone fish
The captain was good at positioning the boat so we could cast to the schools of fish. He taught me how to fly fishing, and had a lot of bites from bone fish. We landed some good ones too. My mother caught some bone fish too on spinning gear Good day overall. Boat is nice and comfortable. The gear that was provided was good and easy to use.

We had an incredible time on this private fishing trip! The water was absolutely stunning—crystal clear and calm, making for a perfect day on the ocean. When sight fishing clouds and too much wind are your enemy. Emerson put us on several pods of Tarpon, and though we tried artificials and live crab, they just were not feeding. Capt Emerson was a pleasure to spend the day with.
