If you want a premier striper experience, book with Southern Comfort and Jerry Limbaugh. He was at the landing ahead of schedule, with the boat and top-tier gear completely prepared and running flawlessly. Jerry got our group of three to the first spot quickly and put us on the fish immediately. The bite at first light was fast and furious, and it continued throughout the trip! Jerry handled the chaos like an absolute pro, netting fish, baiting hooks, and re-tying lines without skipping a beat. Two of my friends on board, Bill and Cori, were inexperienced, and Jerry was incredibly patient and helpful with them. Since I have more fishing experience, he was great about letting me jump in to assist with baiting and netting, which made for an awesome team dynamic. We all caught our limit of nice, quality stripers. Jerry has a fantastic personality, runs a tight ship, and knows exactly how to cater to both novices and experienced anglers. Highly recommended!
The fish were a little slow to bite and it was hot, but Captain Jerry did everything he possibly could to give us a great trip. We caught several different species of fish and had a great time! We would definitely choose this charter again!
The morning started slow. hard to find the fish. but Jerry and Randy persisted until they located the fish. Walked away with an ice-chest full. Randy was a great deckhand too and served us well.
Captain Jerry gave my team off savage 13u baseball players a great trip and some big fish where caught! Great trip and memories!
