Based in Jupiter, Florida, Do Stay Sportfishing provides top class offshore sportfishing trips out of the Jupiter Inlet. Whether you want to hone your fishing skills, compete in a tournament, or simply enjoy cruising the Intracoastal Waterway in style, Captain Lou Mauro and his crew will make sure your day is one to remember.
Your trip will take place aboard the 'Do Stay', a 37 ft Merritt that is the fourth boat ever built by this very well-respected boat manufacturing business. Constructed in 1957 specifically for catching Tuna, the boat is a classic that still combines sleek lines and fish-catching expertise today, sixty years on. Fully restored in 2008, the Do Stay has a well-appointed interior with an enclosed toilet, as well as a flybridge and tower for fantastic views of the surrounding ocean.
Do Stay Sportfishing runs a variety of sportfishing trips, ranging from four to eight hours long. Choose which one suits you best and head out into the Gulf Stream in search of game fish such as Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. Both light and heavy tackle is carried on board, and the main fishing techniques are trolling and kite fishing (when conditions allow).
Please note - live bait is available to purchase at an extra cost ($120). Equipment, ice, and water are included in the price, and the crew is happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day (gratuities are greatly appreciated).

3/4 Day Trip on May 17, 2024 • 2 adultsAll within the space of 1/2 day! Capt Lou and his deck man mate Sparky are ALL BUSINESS. But still have a good time aboard what I feel was the best hull ever laid: 1971 31 foot Bertram. I brought my buddy who fished with me all our lives. I tied into the first one that turned out to be a 40 pound A.J. Right off the bat. For me that would have been worth the charter alone…. But there were more….several other fish of different species not one under 30 lbs. There are cheaper charters around but these guys have gills I swear. Magic: arguably my best day fishing in my life. I KNOW who to get when i want to go a bit offshore: Capt Lou Moro and company. Philip Kerin fished Friday morning May 17 2024 and my left arm is still sore fighting those savages that lurk just beneath……thanks Lou, Sparky and Goose!

We've done a charter a few times and they definitely made this one memorable. Brad also filleted all of the fish we caught. I would not hesitate to go out with Captain Lou and Brad again. They had great patience with us and helped us land a lot of great fish. Plus his boat comfortably fit 6 adults. At one point we had four fish on at the same time. Worth every penny. Thank you!

Chad was only able to get a full spread out once and for about 5 minutes before we got bit again. These guys are true pros and I highly recommend.

After a slow start we had a treble header, black fin tuna and two sail fish on lines at the same time. My wife caught a sail fish as did I. Capt Lou and deck hand Mike were both attentive and always searching for the fish, moving and rebaiting lines and it paid off. The boat Do Stay is smaller than most so cost is also less. Capt Lou also provided free certificates for the sail fish.

We had a fantastic day out with Lou and Sparky! Most notably, we caught 3 sailfish and a (small) tiger shark. Besides the great catches and the superb professionalism, we had a lot of fun as Lou and Sparky created a very relaxed and entertaining atmosphere during the entire trip. We are looking forward to our next trip, and we will certainly book again when we will be in the area the next time. Highly recommended!
