Your trip will take place aboard the 'Do Stay', a 37 ft Merritt that is the fourth boat ever built by this very well-respected boat manufacturing business. Constructed in 1957 specifically for catching Tuna, the boat is a classic that still combines sleek lines and fish-catching expertise today, sixty years on. Fully restored in 2008, the Do Stay has a well-appointed interior with an enclosed toilet, as well as a flybridge and tower for fantastic views of the surrounding ocean.
Do Stay Sportfishing runs a variety of sportfishing trips, ranging from four to eight hours long. Choose which one suits you best and head out into the Gulf Stream in search of game fish such as Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. Both light and heavy tackle is carried on board, and the main fishing techniques are trolling and kite fishing (when conditions allow).
Please note - live bait is available to purchase at an extra cost ($120). Equipment, ice, and water are included in the price, and the crew is happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day (gratuities are greatly appreciated).

thats what my grandsons said. not ten seconds after dripping lines we started hammering them and never let yp until the. ery end. these giys work hard to make sure you are on them and you catching fish. we had to throw most of them back because there was just no place to put them. grandkids had a blast. we WILL return to fish with Captain Lou!!!

We had a fantastic day out with Lou and Sparky! Most notably, we caught 3 sailfish and a (small) tiger shark. Besides the great catches and the superb professionalism, we had a lot of fun as Lou and Sparky created a very relaxed and entertaining atmosphere during the entire trip. We are looking forward to our next trip, and we will certainly book again when we will be in the area the next time. Highly recommended!

Captain Lou Mauro grew up fishing in New Jersey. His devotion to the sea and fishing drew him south to Jupiter, Florida, where he has been fishing ever since 1991 - albeit with a few breaks to fish the world-famous waters of Costa Rica, the Bahamas and Mexico. He is a competitive tournament angler who has competed successfully in tournaments both locally and in the Caribbean. Whether you want to pick Capt. Lou's brains and hone your sport fishing skills or to simply have a fun day on the water catching fish, he will make sure your day with him is worth your while.
