You won’t have to travel far since this guide fishes right off the beach. If you can make the walk out to the spot, there’s a good chance of having an unforgettable fishing experience. You can pack light, as Collins has all of the equipment you’ll need to make the excursion.

Your guide specializes in set rig fishing for big fish, but there is a great chance that throwing poppers and other lures will also lead to a successful trip. Collins will provide rods, reels, and bait for any form of fishing.

Around here it’s common to catch Redfish, Black Drum, Pompano, Blacktip Shark, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Whiting, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Bull Shark, and more if conditions are right. Your primary target is very large fish species, but the opportunity to catch those species and more often present themselves on these trips.

Fish within size and bag limits are yours to keep. Now that’s a fresh meal! Collins can take groups as large as 6 on this guided experience. You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water, no matter the weather.

Collins will have drinks for you, and if you wish to bring your own simply ask. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring ‘em along and pack any extras they need.
