Book your next trip with Back Bay Fishing Charters and find out what makes the fishing in Fort Myers Beach so unique.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 20’ Bennington S20 Pontoon that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Back Bay Fishing Charters!
