Depending on conditions, you might hook into Redfish, Catfish, and whatever else is biting. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Kids are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 17’ Mako skiff that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
