Make the most of your time in Carolina Beach and go fishing with Righteous Times Inshore Guide Service. Captain Chris will be your guide, giving you access to years of sportfishing experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Bonito, Black Drum, Flounder, Great Barracuda, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Black Seabass, Sheepshead, Spadefish, Speckled Trout, and whatever else takes the bait.
On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Chris will bring you aboard a 23' Carolina Skiff Center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is sometimes included and sometimes we will be catching it together !
There will be a First Mate. John will be on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My wife Zena and I were very fortunate and pleased to be around someone who has as much experience as Captain Chris. Chris has probably spent close to if not as much time on the water than I've actually been alive on land, which is coming up on 37 years, so to say that he knows what he's doing is an understatement. Despite that, after all those years on the water, between commercial fishing and running a charter, he gets as happy as a kid in a candy store when his clients get hooked up on something big. He's as genuine as it gets. While we didn't catch any red drum, we caught a pair of trophy black drum, which neither of us will forget for the rest of our lives. I also got caught up with a big stingray that put up a fight like I've never had in my life. We had more than enough rods between the two of us, and he made sure we were always baited up and ready to go. He gave tons of great tips, whether for fishing on a boat or fishing on the surf. I'm looking forward to booking our next vacation in Carolina Beach next year, I'm looking forward to booking up with Chris again just as much. Thank you Chris.

Captain Chris was very amazing and was great at helping our family of 4 catch fish. He was very knowledgable of the area and answered all our questions. He was very patient with my family with trying different bait and different fishing spots. It was a very family friendly fishing trip. I have always wanted to carch a shark, and today we caught 4 in the 4 hours we were fishing!! It was the best fishing trip we had ever been on!! We will be booking with him again the next time we are in the area! Worth every dollar for the trip. 10/10 recommend!!
Captain Chris is so personable & so knowledgable. We had the perfect in-shore charter with him today, and will absolutely be back for every annual charter we do!! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide & person to share stories with/catch fish with all day! We couldn’t recommend Rightous Times Charter more!!
we had a great time, angler Chris was great and very knowledgeable!! we were doing fonder season and trying to catch some flounder. Waters were a little rough that day plus it was Labor Day weekend and a lot of boats out. But we had a great time and I caught my first flounder that was a keeper!! 
This was my family's first charter, Captain Chris has set the bar pretty high for future charters. Would recommend.
