You’ll fish from a 25’ Shearwater center console, a spacious boat that comfortably accommodates 6 guests. For larger groups, Captain Charles can arrange additional boats and professional guides to keep everyone on the fish. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha V6 engine with a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots, the boat is equipped with modern navigation electronics, life preservers, a wireless trolling motor, live baitwell, and an ice-box for your catch.
Using medium light tackle, you’ll target Striped Bass by bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. This trip is family-friendly—kids are welcome, and one child aged 6 or under can even fish for free!
Captain Charles provides everything you’ll need: rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. At the end of your trip, he’ll fillet and bag your fish at no extra cost. All you need to bring are fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks. If you’re looking for lodging, check Mead, OK, and Kingston, OK. Both towns cater to Striper fishermen, with safe lodging ranging from remodeled budget motor inns to lakeside resorts.

Awesome Captain in Rough Waves
The day we fished the wind was blowing 40 mph, and the waves were as high as the boat. It was obvious that Charles was an experienced captain, because he navigated the rough water like pro and kept us all safe. I didn't expect to catch much in such terrible conditions, but Charles managed to find a school and we caught a few. We had a great time, and we are going to book with Charles again on our next trip.

Great captain and great boat
We had a good time on our trip, I cold front moved through unexpectedly and we didn’t have much luck with the fish . We tried several spots and different baits . Overall it was a good trip with a good Captain who offered to take us again on another day for just the cost of fuel. He did right by us ! Thank you Sir!!!

Great time with Co-workers
We had a team building trip with Charles, and it was a great time. Charles helped everybody learn how to use the reels, and was very patient when we got a little over stimulated and twisted our lines together. Once he found the fish the action was fast and furious. Charles is a great captain and handles himself professionally in a diverse crowd of corporate folks. We had a great time, and we are hoping to take another trip with him next year.

Charles had issues with his boat the day before our trip and set us up with another guide he trusted. We had a “slow” morning, but ended up with more than enough fish to call the trip a success. I would highly recommend Charles and anyone he recommends.

Terrible fishing excellent captain!!
Went out with Charles, on a very strange day of fishing. He kept finding fish, but they just wouldn’t bite. Captain Charles stayed out way late trying to connect. Finally we finished on some catfish, highly recommend, and will go again!! Thanks!!! Matt & Family.
