Spend the day with Combat Fishing and see what’s biting in beautiful Panama City Beach.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.
On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing. Feel free to ask any questions. You will be responsible for all of your own equipment. Dive at your own risk Free-diving or Scuba!!!
Capt. John believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. John will bring you aboard a 28’ Mako center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. John will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. If the bait man is not open or sold out, you’ll be catching it yourself just outside the jetties or on your way out to sea.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. The captain will be happy to help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome Fishing Trip
This was the first trip for my wife and I to go deep sea fishing. Captain John and his wife Alicia was very personable and easy going. They were great at explaining the types of fish we where catching and taught us different fishing techniques for the types of fish we were catching as well. While we didnt catch alot of fish, we did catch more than what we normally would eat and will be bringing home plenty to share with friends and family. This was a great experience for us and next time we are back in PCB we will certainly be booking with Captain John again.

GREAT DAY FISHING
We went on a 4 hour trip which we ended up adding a hour, because we we're having so much fun catching fish . John was a excellent captain ,once we found fish we constantly had 2 to 4 fish on at one time . He made the trip very enjoyable and taught us a lot .My family had so much fun and can't stop talking about it . Thank you Captain John

Meeting up was very quick and minutes later we were on our way to catch fish. We got out about ten miles and immediately started catching fish as quickly as we could het our lines in the water. Captain knew where the spots were for sure.
