You're likely to fish for Alligator Gar, Catfish, Carp, Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, Garfish, and more, depending on the time of year.
Take a wild ride with Capt. Jason Toombs. Cruise through the swamps, bayous and marshes of south Louisiana. The Captain runs swamp tours during the day and has a wealth of information about the area. But when the sun goes down, bowfishing is his passion. You'll get all the training necessary to spot and hit your catch. Experience not needed for bowfishing, Captain Jason will be helping you throughout the night. When the trip is over, all your catch will be cleaned and bagged, ready for you to cook to your likings.
Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your boat for the day is a 20' GatorTail center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring bug spray! Captain usually has a few bottles on hand, but may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin. Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Jason Toombs was so personable, accommodable, & knowledgeable. He know’s them waters like the air he breathes!! He’s going to put you on them fish no matter the weather or water circumstances. He will make sure you feel comfortable & make sure you leave with what you came for. Highly recommend. It’s going to be an annual trip for me from here on out no doubt!

My husband and I had a blast bow fishing with Captain Jason. It was our first time bow fishing and Jason did a great job teaching us how to use the bow. Captain Jason is fun and down to earth. Not only would we recommend is charters but we would book with him again.
