The fish in these waters include Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Paddlefish, and more if conditions are right. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You’ll be casting lines from a 20’ Crestliner center console with space for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
