Capt. Bud operates a 31' Tiara Open that holds up to 6 passengers. It has state of the art fishing equipment and electronics to ensure a maximum catch for you and your friends and family. There is a bathroom on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. No bananas/banana products allowed. This is a rule we take very seriously and we will dispose of them on the water should you bring them aboard.

Caption Bud was awesome with the kids and adults (LOL). Very knowledgeable and put us on the fish first thing. He was easy to work with so that we could get out a little early so that we got past the draw bridge at 6 am. Would recommend.
Thanks Randy, you guys were awesome! Everybody did great reeling and handling the rods and if that first bite wouldve kept up we wouldve filled both coolers. hapoy to have you back anytime ans hopefully you guys were able to get into clementines ans enjoy the onion rings!
we enjoyed this experience so very much. Saw a beautiful sunrise. Caught four beauties. Great for supper tonight! Gorgeous weather. Great way to spend time with family.

Captain Bryan (Bud) Winn Captain Bud has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a fishing pole and has spent countless hours on the water. With nearly a decade of Lake Michigan experience, he has won multiple tournaments and taken many top 10 finishes as well. He began fishing the port of Muskegon as a first mate on a charter boat and fell in love with trolling Lake Michigan as so many of us do. After a few years of being a first mate, it was time for him to move on and buy his own boat. He moved to the port of South Haven as it was closer to his hometown and began learning from the local captains all about this new port and where the fish tend to roam toward the south end of the lake. In 2019 Captain Bud obtained his USCG Master 25 Ton Captain's license and began running charters on some of the local captain's boats. He fell in love with the 31 ft Open Tiara and had to have one of his own. In 2021 that dream came true and he has been continuing to hone his craft every day that he's on the water to make your trip that much more fun and exciting.
