Fishing Charters Of San Diego is here to show you the stunning waters of San Diego. With over 40 years of local experience, we offer better boats, better prices and more experience.

Pacific Barracuda, Calico Bass, Rockfish, Bluefin Tuna, Bonito, Yellowtail Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, White Seabass, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right.

A wide variety of fishing techniques may be used including, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, casting or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Brian also offers kite fishing for large Bluefin tuna.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life jacket we have several on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Brian will have some available!

You’ll be welcome aboard a custom 35’ Sportfisher with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a porcelain flushing toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is used as well and whatever else may be required to catch as many fish as possible!

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, it is required to buy a local fishing license for anyone fishing 16 and older. This information is usually available online, or you can purchase them at the location prior to departure(cash only).

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
